OT - Illustrator actions

Hello all,
Since this is off topic of FrameMaker, I was wondering if anyone out
there is very proficient with Illustrator CS. I am trying to create an
action and it is not performing completely as I need it to. If anyone
cares to give me some suggestions, please contact me off list.
