Double-clicking *.fm file in dir no longer opens file

Hello Pearl,
Most likely another recent installation superseded your FM
definitions. The following should help:
- In Control Panel open the Folder Options
- Select the tab File Types and wait until the list is built
- Scroll down to "fm Adobe FrameMaker Document"
- Delete this entry (yes, do it)
- Start FrameMaker in the command line with the option -reg, e.g.
H:\Adobe\framemaker.72en\FrameMaker.exe -reg
- This will re-establish the entries in the Registry
