Manage images/graphics into FM 7.0 from an external source

Hello, I'm looking for a solution to manage images and graphics
externally in a multingual FM 7.0 book. The principle is to stock the
images/graphics in a database and tell to FM to use the database to
update and insert automatically the required images (we could use some
ref to identify the images/graphics). I'm not sure my explanation is
clear. I would be very grateful if someone could help. So many thanks in
