No "File > Import" option available

On of our writers has lost the "File > Import" option in his FM 7.2.
He has only the import button, but this one only works for file import
and my writer needs to import an OLE object. He tells me this has been
this way for several days.

Is there a setting that may have gone amiss? I hate to have to reinstall FM.

System WinXP SP2. Laptop dual screen.
