Selecting text

First, I know how to select a range of text by clicking one end of the
text and then Shift-clicking the other end.

But I want to select text by dragging through the text; not galloping
through the text. How do I slow done the rate at which Framemaker
selects text which far out paces the sloooooowwwww rate at which I drag
the mouse.

I know there has to be a way to slow the text selection down as I drag
the mouse.
