Frame 7.2 crashes on batch conversion

Problem is 'solved' - sorry to have bothered you (deadline....) but it still is a bug in FM7.2:

It turned out to be an image, EPS image that actually wasn't EPS but AI format. FrameMaker 7.1 had no problem importing the XML, but FrameMaker 7.2 crashed. Illustration was identified as pdf (NDATA pdf) when the XML was created in FM 7.1. Extension was .EPS. Apparently FM 7.2 can't handle this misinterpretation?

Sounds either as if you're running out of memory or hitting a problem
that's delaying a read or write...

Amount of RAM?
Are the files across a network?
Does the problem occur when all files are open?
