Colors in TIFF files change when they are pulled into FrameMaker?

Hi Framers,
I am wondering if any of you have experienced this issue and may be able
to help. I've searched the Master Series and the online Help and can't
find what I am looking for. 
Running: FrameMaker 6.0 version 6.0p405 on Windows XP (SP2)
Problem: A graphic artist sent me TIFF files to add to the Master Pages
of a template. When I view the TIFF files via other programs, they look
fine. When I pulled the TIFF files into the FrameMaker template (copying
the files into the Master Page; not referencing them), the color blue in
our logo and another graphic turns a bright, garish blue. The resulting
PDF files (after setting Distiller options to Leave Color Unchanged)
also contain the overly bright blue color.
The graphic artist usually works in other programs (like QuarkExpress,
etc.) and has never seen this happen.
Has anyone ever seen this before? If so, can you tell me what your
resolution was?
