FW: Printing Chapters to Separate files; Was: Links not working in Adobe

Thanks to Rick & Stever for providing insight to my plight. Indeed, the answer was to include an asterisk instead of a filename.

As you can see from my email, I sent it on Oct 31, but it was not posted until last week (when I was on vacation). Has anyone else experienced this kind of delay in getting emails posted? Or is this perhaps a problem with my outgoing mail server?

It also turns out -- as many of you no doubt know -- that Save As PDF was broken in 7.0 and earlier releases, but a patch is now available that enables this functionality.

Carol, I haven't played with this, but in pre-7 versions, the file
name field could contain an asterisc, which FM interpreted by printing
each chapter_file.fm to a chapter_file.pdf. Might see if it still
works that way instead of typing in a file name.
