Border being generated around a page

Hello.  I have a document that spontaneously generates a border around the 
first page only when I make the PDF.  The book is made up of several files 
and set at 5.5 x 8.5.  I use Frame 6.0p405 on Win XP, and this occurs with 
using either Adobe PDF 6 or 7 printers (I print to PS and use Distiller). 
I've been having to delete the border in the PDF manually, and I cannot 
figure out why the border is being generated in the first place.  Anyone 
else encounter this and how to prevent it?
