ANN: Hoffmann to Present "Optimizing Structured FM for Localization" at Annual FM User Group

BOULDER, CO - OCTOBER 19, 2006 - ENLASO Corporation, a provider of

localization publishing expert Maxwell Hoffmann will be making a
presentation at the FrameMaker 2006 Chautauqua on November 9 in Austin,
Texas.

 

Hoffmann, who manages Consulting and Training solutions for ENLASO, will
be presenting "Optimizing Structured FrameMaker for Localization." The
presentation includes an overview of the localization process while
focusing on FrameMaker's strengths in the publishing phase of
localization. General tips for template management are also covered.
Hoffmann will be demonstrating customer-specific FrameMaker plug-ins
that ENLASO has developed to facilitate the localization process:

 

    * Localize a "single source" template, eliminating the need

      for one template per target language, 

    * Reduce publishing time by automatically creating structured 

      book and chapter-relative Tables of Contents in one step,

    * Fix orphans after text expansion, 

    * Alphabetize translated glossaries, and Generate correct 

      PDF bookmarks in unsupported languages.

FrameMaker because it is the market leader in high volume, scalable

Over the last 20 years, Maxwell Hoffmann has trained more than 1,500
customers and sales professionals in publishing solutions and
localization. He has nine years of localization and 19 years of
FrameMaker experience. Hoffmann is also a former product manager for
FrameMaker at Frame Technology and has helped develop a round trip from
FrameMaker to XML at ENLASO two years before the release of XML-enabled
FrameMaker 7.0.
