Importing jpegs again

Sorry, I haven't used the list in a long time and forgot to include necessary info. We are using FM 7.0.

We have always imported jpeg files by reference into our doucmentation. These files are edited in and exported from CorelDraw . This has worked beautifully for years. This past week something broke and the the import always fails. We get an error message:  The filter encountered an error and could not complete the translation. This happens with new and old files.
Any idea about what is going on and how to fix it?
