Weird font error in FrameMaker 6 on Mac

It's a Mac installation, which doesn't have a maker.ini file.

Sorry: should have explained. MacTeX is a full TeX installation for Apple OS X.

As the error seems to have been cleared by a cold boot, and as I don't use FrameMaker 6 any more, I guess I can stop worrying.
