Dianne,

You can save the Frame file as a PDF. With Acrobat Pro 7.0 or 8.0, you
can save the PDF for review and the writers in Japan will have similar
tools to the Word doc with highlighting, notes and editing.

Or, in Frame, you could create conditions, one for deleting, one for
inserting etc.

Grettings to all in Frameland,

I have successfully convinced my company to switch from Word to FM, but
there is a group of writers in Japan that would still like to have the
highlighting feature that Word has. I'm sure you all know that this
feature
does not exist natively in FM, so I was wondering if any of you know of
a
plug-in for FM that would add this feature.

Yes, I know that I can create a frame around the text, fill it with a
contrasting color, and put it behind the text, but that is
time-consuming
and not really the best way to do this. They want to use it along with
Track Changes to zoom in on specific changes that have been made. Those
of
you who know how the Track Changes feature in Word works, will probably
understand why they want this.

Thanks in advance for any recommendations you might have.
