Frame 6.0 Win - Mixed Page Numbers in TOC, Index... HELP

I am a new Frame 6.0 user. Question 1:  My chapter page numbers are 1-2, 1-3, 2-1, 2-2, etc.  My appendices uses letters, such as A-1, A-2, A-3, etc.  I did not find anything in the help that tells me how to set up the reference page of the TOC and Index to properly pick up the correct prefix (1- or A-).  Could someone provide a tip?  Question 2)  My Preface uses roman numerals for page numbers.  How do I differentiate that on the reference page of the index and TOC?  This worked fine in a previous version of Frame but when I imported to 6.0, it puts 1- in front of everything.
