Easiest way to migrate from one FM template to another

I am using unstructured Framemaker.
I am going to migrate from one FM template to a new one. The migration
includes new names for paragraph styles in many documents.
 
I know the Global Update Option where you can rename a paragraph format.
This takes a long time and needs to be done for every chapter. 
 
I am looking for an easier way to do it, maybe a batch conversion?
