CGM Handling in FM7.0 vs FM7.2

We have a subcontractor preparing non-structured documents with FM7.2. I
don't know what operating system they use, but I am sure it's some
flavor of Windows.

They create graphics in Isodraw, then export to CGM. The graphics are
inserted in the FM documents by reference. PDFs that they create on
their end look fine.

When we open the FM files on our end, in FM7.0, we notice that the
graphics are slightly distorted, perhaps squeezed by 10% from top to
bottom. The "O"s in included text become ovals. If we create a PDF from
the FM file without changing anything, the problem is reproduced. If we
delete the graphic from the FM file and re-insert the same image it
looks fine, with no distortion.

Is it possible that the CGM filter was changed between FM7.0 and FM7.2?
It's the only answer we can think of.
