Strange problem with saving as PDF (FM 8.0 only)

Hi Fred
 
There are no hyperlinks that refer to FrameMaker files. The weird thing
is that Distiller appears to trigger the opening and saving of the
chapters of *ANY* frame book that happens to be open when the distilling
completes.

I can't think of any reason why Acrobat would be manipulating FrameMaker
files in any way, unless you have possibly included hyperlinks that
refer
specifically to the FrameMaker files rather than to "named destinations"
in the text of the document. Is that possible?
