The same text inset displayed in one part of the chapter and hidden in another part of the chapter?

Hi
Is it possible to have the same text inset displayed in one part of the
chapter and hidden in another part of the chapter?
 
It seems that the "online representation" of the text inset gets
unconditinalized whenever I update the book/text inset.
