Acrobat: 7.0 Professional (stand-alone full version)
Yes, the file I want to print is open.

So weird ... this is a task I do every day, multiple times a day, but
this is the first time I've ever gotten this error message.

What OS are you running, and what version of Acrobat (and is it the
stand-alone full version or the limited Distiller version shipped with
FM)?

Are the files that you're trying to print open on your desktop?
