Missing registration marks

I just tried creating a PDF with registration marks from FrameMaker 8.0 and Acrobat 9.0 Pro using the "print to Adobe PDF printer" method with the Standard job options (box standard Adobe setup) and it worked fine. It even worked fine using the Smallest File Size job options settings. So that doesn't appear to be the problem.
