Frame 9 to PDF graphics are gray boxes

I know I've seen something about this, but I can't find it in the
archives. I am using Frame 9.0p250 (on Windows XP with 4G memory and
screaming processor) and when I try to save my document as PDF, all my
graphics become gray boxes. I did not install the Add On because I have
Acrobat 8 Pro (v 8.1.6). And I've heard of some conflicts between the
Frame Add On and Acrobat.

Can somebody please point me to the problem?
