Changing Paper size in template

You will find the A4 template in tempac3/pro/a4.

There are also individual documents on each template pack in
http://www.adobe.com/products/framemaker/tempseries/pdfs/, but you can't get
there directly.

Add tempacx.pdf to the above URL, where x is the template pack, i.e.,
/tempac1.pdf, /tempac2.pdf, etc.
There is also a primer on the use of the templates. The document name is
/primer.pdf, at the same base URL.

Did you look through the FrameMaker templates at
http://www.adobe.com/products/framemaker/tempseries/index.html?

I believe there is an A4 template in there somewhere.

These were all done in Unstructured Frame 5.5, I think, but should give you
the basic page layout.

I forget what the magic dimensions are, but there is a set of settings
for text frames that a few companies use that work, unchanged, on both
sizes of paper. Makes writing and pagination a bit easier because the
text layout and page count stay the same on both Letter and A4.
