Changing Paper size in template

Because Letter size is both shorter and wider than A4, my optical rule
says the margins must be narrower to the sides but maybe a little bit
larger for top and bottom than so often seen in letter size documents.

I think FM does some adapting when changing from letter to A4, but I
usually change the default A4 settings of FM, depending on whether the
pages will be punched or not.
Inside punched 1.5 - 2 cm,
Inside unpunched 1.25-1.5 cm,
Outside 1-1.25 cm,
Top 1-1.25 cm,
Bottom 0.8 -1.5 cm depending on type of contents and whether I am
using footer or not.

This also depends on the type of contents, the font size etc. (too
many things to mention), so that the margins can be up to approx. one
cm larger but very seldom the huge margins that M$Word uses as
default.

Just print out one page and have a look at it (better at some distance).
