Split table; add text after a table

The table is anchored to something. Go to the anchor and press enter.
Then you can have a new paragraph.
However, if it much better if you make a "place holder" for the tables.
The table should have its own tag and not be attached to the previous paragraph.
The font size can be very small, I have the paragraph set to 0 above and -9 below.
The tables I make are set to -9 pt above, this means you do not get too much white space before the table.
(n.b. someone on this list gave me the idea a few years ago)
