[OT] Having problems converting a PDF

I am trying to convert a PDF written in Japanese to a dox, text or HTML
file. When I do a Save As or Export As, I get the following error:
 
Bad PDF; could not read page structure <Bad PDF; error in processing
fonts, cannot find CMAP resource file.[47]
 
I also can't run OCR on it.
 
Any suggestions on how I can convert this PDF?
