FrameMaker 9 Welcome Screen

Hi Susan, I'm looking into this with our engineering team, but I'm also recommending that we include a toggle option in the General Preferences dialog box, which should make it much easier to handle this option. I will keep you posted on my findings.

BTW, I can't find the actual email, but someone on the list mentioned something about the default dark gray look of the new UI and I wanted to mention that there's a handy "UI Brightness" slider under File > Preferences > Interface, which allows you to customize the look-and-feel.

So RJ, for those of us who are not new users and don't like the welcome
screen, is there some way (say in the maker.ini) we can turn it off?
