Error: This document uses unavailable languages

Hello all

This probably has been covered somewhere, sometime, somehow, but someone on my team is just now encountering this problem so I thought I would ask.

When opening certain documents, the error message "This document uses unavailable languages. OK to proceed?"

1) Why is this error popping up?
2) How can we stop it from popping up?
