missing PDF chapter

Here's an interesting problem for any automap users out there:

*	From FrameMaker, manually generate a book and create a PDF. No
problems.
*	From an Automap job, automatically create a PDF. One chapter
goes missing in the PDF output. Instead, automap creates a MIF file with
this naming fomat: MyFile.MIF.hex (where "hex" is a hex number of
length=3).

Previously, I discovered this error when the FM file contained a graphic
pasted into an anchored frame (instead of imported by reference). But in
this case, the missing chapter has no graphics whatsoever.
