Upgrading FrameMaker - XP (was IE) Service Pack ?

I use FM 7.2 on XP Service Pack 3 at work on a daily basis with zero issues.
Home today, using FM 7.2 on Windows 7 64-bit, and no problems here, either.

I'm at the same Company as Diana. We have been told (could be urban
legend) that anything prior to Frame 7 will not be supported with this
Service Pack 3 for XP. I would love to hear that it truly is urban
legend. I am not sure by what they mean by not supported either. One of
the possible items is that the Service Pack causes issues with embedded
OLE objects. Does anyone know of any other issues?

My department is also trying to determine if we need to worry about
upgrading immediately. Some of us are on Frame 8, but not all.
