Frame 7.1 to 8 upgrade -- benefits?

That thought crossed my mind as well.

I like FM9. I admit that it took me a while to adjust to the change in the interface, but I'm used to it now.

If you plan to use DITA, I definitely say upgrade to 9; it handles DITA better than 8 does.
