Convert table to text?

I've been doing that a lot recently - I have tables of terms that I need to de-table to put into sorted list.

I simply select all the cells I want, and paste them into a text editor. My usual choice is TextPad, though it may also work with NotePad.

The cells turn into text with tabs between cells.
