OT: Is there software for burning cross-platform CDs from PC?

I use ImgBurn for making CD's and DVD's ... and I believe it can make
ISO9660 and Joliet format, both of which should be readable on Mac
systems (AFAIK).

But that would mean installing Cygwin first and configuring that  
before being able to write a CD surely? Cracking a walnut with a  
sledgehammer?
