Active Areas from Frame-Generated Index(es)

Correct me if I'm wrong but isn't that the default behaviour for Index pages? Who wants the link to be active for the text as well when you have several pages for the same text entry? The idea is to have only the page number active as a link.

Generating the index isn't a problem.  It's the resulting PDF....the linking area doesn't 
extend to the entire index entry....only the leader dots and page numbering.
