Can the spelling checker be trusted? Yes!

I'm not sure I would call it "fixed." It's still a bug that the tag makes the spelling checker miss errors in the rest of the paragraph. In my case, the rest of the paragraph contained text formatted as Default Font.

I'm just happy I have a workaround and pleased that Adobe cared enough to respond.
