need to change equation size

Hello Bethany,

Although I have not been following this thread on frameusers.com, I don't
know if my reaction is useful, but perhaps I can offer an alternative:
Select the equation in the text (with mouse or keyboard -> as if it is a
character). Type <esc><m><e> (from 'expanded'). Then choose Graphics ->
Object Properties (<alt>G <alt>P). Now you can choose 'Size' (<alt>z). Here
you can choose between small, medium or large. If you have a macro-recording
tool, you could perhaps automate this.

That's actually what I ended up doing. I was just hoping there was a
more automatic way of doing this.

I don't know of a command in FM to do that, but this works:

Insert a new equation of the size you need; select and copy all the 
content from the original equation and paste it into the new one; delete

the original.
