On a deadline - dotted lines for table inside borders?

On the Table Designer Ruling tab, you should Dotted as one of the ruling options. Select it for all the column and body row rulings, and something solid for all the outside rulings. 

If you don't like the dot pattern, open the Custom Ruling and Shading dialog, select Dotted, and click Edit Ruling Style. Either modify the existing Dotted or create a new style by changing the name.
