OFF-TOPIC: PC BIOS Screen Capture Software

Maybe this is a dumb question but how do you run the BIOS from command prompt? I only know the reboot and press F2 method.

Thank you,

One of our software engineers, just now, viewed the BIOS using the Command Prompt and captured the image with Snag-it. Although he was clearly annoyed by my bothering him, he muttered to the effect "we do it all the time"

I have no idea what all those lines of code mean, so I stay far away. I'm content just being a user of software.

Hmmm ... I did not know that Snagit worked on BIOS screens ... (i.e., not when running inside Windows or MacOS for example).

Do you know for sure if it does that? If so, it would be quite awesome!

I use the Tech-Smith Snagit tool. Seems to work well.

This is off-topic but since you guys rock I'm hoping one of you has an answer.
Does anyone know of software that allows you to capture the screen within the BIOS? Currently I use a digital camera and just take pictures of the monitor, but of course, those graphics are distorted and look like crap.
