FM 9 Minutia

Dear Framers,

 

Does anyone know how to get FM 9 to mimic any of the following FM 7.1 behaviors?

 

1.       Pasted plain text takes on the condition tags of the insert location instead of being unconditional.

2.       Inserting a variable uses the last used variable instead of defaulting back to pagecount in each separate file. 

3.       Auto-generated heading numbers show the conditional text marking of the paragraph tag.

 

Also, is there a way to get the FM 9 book window to be narrower when it opens? Making it narrower and saving my desktop doesn¡¯t seem to help.
