Importing paragraph formats

I like Fred's solution for multiple para's. For a single para I modify as follows:
-place cursor anywhere in the para
-choose Copy Special > Paragraph Format
-go to your destination document, place the cursor where you'd like the new format 
-choose Paste. 
-use Para Designer to add para format to para catalog
