ANN: Acrobat Automation From FrameMaker

Hello Framers,

One of FrameMaker's strengths is that you can convert documents and books to
PDF and have a lot of functionality, such as bookmarks and links,
automatically generated. However, there are certain things that have to be
added in Acrobat, such as security settings.

I am testing a process where FrameMaker documents or books can be output to
PDF and post-processed in Acrobat via FrameScript and ExtendScript. This
means you can go from FrameMaker to finished PDF files without any hand-work
in Acrobat. If your workflow requires significant hand-work in Acrobat and
you are interested in streamlining it, please contact me offlist.
