Hi Leigh,
This appears to be the intended behaviour. To be honest, I can't think of a single instance where I have wanted the autonumber to begin at the end of a paragraph so it has never been an issue for me.
Best of luck.

Subject: autonumber at end of text is mis-aligned
I'm trying to add some text as autonumbering at the end of a paragraph. Regardless of the justification setting for the paragraph format, the autonumber is right-justified, creating a LOT of blank space between the paragraph text and the autonumber. In other words, I want
Blah blah blah - Continued
(where "-Continued" is the autonumber)
but I get
Blah blah blah..............................................................- Continued|
where | is the right margin and the dots represent blank space. Happens regardless of whether the autonumber is text, a building block, whatever. What's up with this?
Thanks,
Leigh
