Frame 10 save to Frame 8 files

Hey,

 

I am currently using Frame 10 (as part of TC3). I briefly tested opening
a Frame 8 document and it seem you can only save as a Frame 9 or a Frame
10 document. 

 

Oddly enough, you can only save as either a Version 10 or version 7 when
saving as a .mif file.

Hi Gillian,

 

I am using the beta version and it has a FrameMaker 8.0 save option. I
am not sure about the release version. However, have them save the
document as .MIF and you will be able to open it with 8.

Can Frame 10 save to Frame 8 files. A colleague in England is telling me
he can only save down to Frame 9. Can anyone confirm this?
