Restore a corrupt file

Hi,

Looks like you've tried everything, but just in case, look in the folder
that contains the file for a .auto extension, or for a file with an odd
extension of a collection of letters and numbers.
If you find either, copy it and then either try to open it with FM or change
the extension to .fm and then open.

I'm interested in technical FM challenges - are you comfortable with sending
me the file?
If so, please send me a copy of a backup that hasn't been opened with the
'heroic' method.

Here's hoping,
mark
