Straight Apostrophe in Framemaker 9

Hi Linda,

Did you try turning off Smart Quotes?  (Format > Document > Text Options)

This will force the apostrophes and quotes to be straight instead of curly.

Did you mean to enter Alt+0162 to get a straight apostrophe? I tried that and nothing happened.

Hi,

I am using Framemaker 9 and our content management system is having problems rendering the "curly" apostrophe that Framemaker creates by default. Is there a setting similar to the Turn off Smart Quotes option that applies to apostrophes? I want it to use a straight apostrophe that uses standard ASCII.
