removing condition tags across book?

What version of FrameMaker are you using? There used to be a plugin called CleanImport will do what you want. It's $15, but does not work with FrameMaker v10.

Also, I'm sure Rick Quatro has a FrameScript that could do this. Perhaps there's and ExtendScript that could do it too.
