Framemaker 8 freezing with Win7, do Frame 8 patches apply to Win7?

Yes, but it says "This download is for Adobe® FrameMaker® 8 customers who
are having problems upgrading to Microsoft® Windows® XP with Service Pack
3." so I assumed that would not apply to Windows 7...?
