Basic (Silly) Questions ?

I'm going to assume that it's an EPUB file and it's not copy protected. If that's the case, the easiest way of viewing it on your computer is to install a browser extension like EPubReader for Firefox.

You can also install Adobe Digital Editions, which will let you read EPUB files. If the file is in Kindle format (.mobi), you can install Amazon's own Kindle software.

Offhand, I don't think you can use any of these to print an ebook, but I could be wrong about that.

- Can one print (on paper) an Ebook via Framemaker or Windoze Word
(on Win XP) ?
- Can the file be saved in a typical PDF Reader ?
