Is there a way to compare two books?

It would be OK to compare two pdfs.

Both FrameMaker and Acrobat offer book compare options.

In Frame, choose File, Utilities, Compare Books. In Acrobat, choose View, Compare Documents.

I would try the Frame option first. The Acrobat option notes every formatting/placement change, which can get bothersome.
