Can't get to either the Paragraph Designer or Character Designer

Can somebody test Robert's list of broken sortcuts in FM12 and post the
results. (He's using FM10 if I recall correctly.)

I have to say that in FM11 I've never seen Ctrl-M and Ctrl-D not bring up
the Paragraph and Character Designers above the other workspace elements. I
always work with the active document files docked. A floating document
window might cause a problem obscuring other elements, but I don't know
that.

The new UI layered on top of the ancient one in FM9 introduced the problem
David is encountering where dialogs and windows open behind other UI
elements. It also broke many of the keyboard shortcuts I had relied on for
