FYI: I have a FrameScript script for converting batches of FrameMaker
documents back and forth between versions. If you have any interest, please
contact me offlist. Thank you very much.

Subject: Re: converting files from 9 to 12
When I start working on a book that was saved in an earlier version, the
first thing I do is open all the files, save all the files, and close all
files in the book. This way I get rid of the annoying pop-ups when I open
the files.
I never save the original in the previous version. If you are working in an
environment where half the people are working in one version and half are
working in another version, good luck to you :) That sounds like a real
pain. Otherwise, I don't see any issues.

Greetings,
I'm in the process of generating manuals in Frame 12 that were written in
Frame 9. Curious if anyone has had this experience and would be able offer a
few tips.
TIA
